Our final week is upon us! You made it! Congrats! It’s almost over!
Hopefully, you enjoyed Casey — @thedailylit — and everything she has done in the advertising world. She’s a rockstar! Maybe she inspired you a bit? I’m glad she was able to make the trip and sit with you.
For our final class:
Please read Media Law & Media Ethics — the final two chapters.
Final Exam Info:
Wednesday, December 14th – 1pm-3pm, 2310 Ingersoll.
Four Chapters: News (11), PR (12), Media Law (14) and Media Ethics (15)
Questions: 100 questions – True & False, Multiple Choice, and Matching.
#2 pencil, etc etc. Same as always.
Final Blog: Will be in a separate post, please keep an eye out for that.
I will respond/comment on each of your blogs — either on the site itself or via email. You will receive your final blog grade through your TA after I have responded to ALL the students.
After I finish, I will be sending out some blogs that were A worthy so those who DIDN’T receive an A will see why.
Rubic – How the blog grade is reached:
A+, A, A-
Student did all the work, on time, no missing elements. Went above what was required and/or showed improvement throughout semester. Put in the effort that deserves an A in this section… Possibly TA-worthy.
Student did most of the work with a few blemishes such as lateness or missing required elements… the final post not being up to A standards. But did well.
B-, C+, C, C-
Student missed posts/elements/lateness/word count but did enough to pass but was average throughout the semester…
Missed several posts, late, and barely did the required work. Final post may or may not have been done.
Missed too many posts regardless of final post.
If there is an issue, email me and I will respond AFTER I get through all of the blogs… so please be patient before and after emailing. I don’t want to go backwards till I have to.
Thank you and see you on Wednesday!
