1165 Class 9 – March 29th

Start here

Hello Again,

This post is for Class 9, March 29th. The previous post is for class 8, please do class 8’s blog assignment by March 22nd 12pm.

After radio, came TV and that’s where we will be on March 29th! Aka Class 9.

Please read Rodman’s TV chapter and this quick article:

For the blog post:

Watch ALL of “Unproductive The Webseries” Seasons 1 & 2.

This is BC’s Television & Radio’s original webseries – written, directed, and edited by students. Season 3 is currently in pre-production and will premiere sometime in fall 2017.
Each season clocks in around 60-70 minutes. Hence why I am sending this to you now.
Answer the following questions –
— Who is your favorite character and why? Who is your least favorite character and why? Would you want to hang out with these people? Why or why not?
— What was your favorite episode and scene? Why?
— What do you think will happen to these characters in the next season? Or in life?
— Use anything you’ve learned this semester! Impress me. Add whatever else you feel is necessary.
— Maybe think of clever marketing/advertising? Maybe internet? Hashtags? Or something else.
Lastly, in all honesty, every episode has some technical issues — sound, an edit here or there, etc etc. This is what happens in a working environment and a limited shooting schedule. When writing about the show — DO NOT COMMENT on these issues. We know the issues. We’ve tried to fix them but they’re there so leave those critiques OUT OF YOUR POST. I do not care whether you liked it or not, whether there was a sound issue or a cliché here or there. That is not what this is about. I do not want your review of whether the show is good, bad, or great. I want THOSE questions answered and the WHY.
There is no word count for this assignment so write for the grade you want to receive.

Once again – this is due on Wednesday, March 29th by 12pm. For Class 8’s work, see the previous blog post.

Best and hope you enjoy the show!

Professor Dunphy
